Customers can access a number of well developed, expertly applied and proven services that are tailor made to specific needs. These include:

Direct Line Feed - DLF inventory management systems ensure products are delivered direct: either to points-of-fit on a manufacturer's production line, or to points-of-use within a stores area. DLF reduces many of the hidden administration and handling costs that customers incur through the adoption of lean processes, and guarantees deliveries are made at the right time in the required quantity to an assured quality standard. If required, a dedicated Anixter Industrial employee can be positioned with inventory onsite to an agreed requirement, providing stock management services and technical support as necessary.

Kitting - This is a bespoke service available to customers looking to streamline their in-house production by reducing storage and handling costs and simplifying product assembly. Kits containing a mixed selection of fasteners and small components are prepared and packed to customers’ specification. This service combines component sourcing and checking, packing, labeling and bar coding.

Sub Assembly - Sub assembly is an Anixter Industrial bespoke service in which appropriately trained ‘hands’ turn small components into completed product parts, ready for customers to fit within their own manufacturing process. Components can be jointly sourced and the work has to be accurate, of a high standard and assembled parts delivered to match customers’ production schedules.

Value Added Engineering - Anixter Industrial Application Engineers provide mechanical engineering support and solutions about products, materials and fixing methods. New production projects benefit from this experienced know-how through access to tried and tested, cost effective solutions, supply and service up-grades, valuable 'spec' input and impartial advice.
